• Proof of rabies vaccination, medical records, current photo

• Pet carrier / Nylon leash

• Self-cling bandages

• Muzzle or strips of cloth to prevent biting (as long as pet is not vomiting, choking, coughing, or otherwise having difficulty breathing)

• Absorbent gauze / Adhesive tape

• Antiseptic wipes

• Towels / Blanket

• Cotton balls

• Ice pack

• Non-latex disposable gloves

• Rectal thermometer

• Petroleum jelly (to lubricate thermometer)

• Tweezers / Scissors

• Sterile saline solution / Ear-cleaning solution

• Nail clippers

• Plastic eyedropper or syringe

• Splints and tongue depressors

• Styptic powder or pencil

• Antibiotic ointment / Rubbing alcohol (isopropyl)

• Hydrogen peroxide (to induce vomiting when directed by a veterinarian or poison control)

• Diphenhydramine (Benadryl®) if approved by a veterinarian for allergic reactions.
