Croton Animal Hospital has been an accredited animal hospital of American Animal Hospital Association since 1974. We recently had our triennial evaluation and because of the great effort put forth by our team in preparation for that event, we passed with flying colors and in so doing, surpass forty continuous years as an AAHA accredited hospital. Unlike human
hospitals, not all animal hospitals are required to be accredited. Accredited hospitals are the only hospitals that choose to be evaluated on approximately 900 quality standards that go above and beyond basic state regulations, ranging from patient care and pain management to staff training and advanced diagnostic services. AAHA-accredited hospitals are recognized among the finest in the industry, and are continuously reviewed to keep us on the cutting edge of veterinary excellence.
