What does this mean? We are a proud member of the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA). Fewer than 15% of the animal hospitals in the USA have this distinction. AAHA is the world’s leading association of companion animal practitioners. When your four-legged family member enters an AAHA accredited facility, you can be assured that he or she will receive the best of care.
To achieve AAHA certification, our Westchester County facility had to pass comprehensive inspection of our record keeping; diagnostic capabilities; quality of the medicine practiced; anesthetic, surgical and dental procedures; pharmacy, emergency services, and nursing care; continuing education of the team; and the physical facility itself. We are proud to announce that we exceeded AAHA’s requirements and continue to maintain those criteria that exceed AAHA’s standards.
