Pets Alive Westchester: Dog the Month

By October 7th, 2013No Comments

Below is the DOG OF THE MONTH information from our friends at Pets Alive Westchester:

Lady Jay is a very, very special Australian Cattle Dog mix. She was on the kill list at a local shelter and her time was up. The man assigned to take her life brought her into the kill room and looked at her but could not go through with it; he saw something special in her. He left the room to find his superiors to beg them to spare her life. As he was coming down the hallway, he ran into Pets Alive Westchester staff who were there to pull animals – and it was quickly arranged for Lady Jay to come to Pets Alive Westchester. This happy girl is special – she is warm and welcoming to everyone, loves all people, loves kids, and gets along well with other dogs. She is very well behaved as well! We can’t wait to see her in her forever home.

Lady Jay is altered, up to date on vaccines and micro chipped and available to go home today.

To meet Lady Jay please fill out a dog application and/or visit the adoption center Sun-Thurs 10am-4pm, Fri 10am-7:30pm or Saturday 10am-6:30.
