ifaw helping ukrainian refugees

We are happy to report that our clients have donated $150, and we have matched that donation, to IFAW (International Fund for Animal Welfare). IFAW has rushed people, aid and resource to the emergency in Ukraine, where refugees and pets are in need.

From IFAW:

“At several border crossing points along the Ukrainian-Polish border, refugee welcome centers have been set up. Every day, thousands of refugees come in who need a place to stay overnight, before continuing their journey into Poland and from there other neighboring countries. Our team has visited several of these border crossings, supporting the local veterinary teams and distributing water, pet food, harnesses and carriers to refugees who have fled Ukraine with their pets.”

IFAW is a global non-profit helping animals and people thrive together. They are experts and everyday people, working across seas, oceans, and in more than 40 countries around the world. They rescue, rehabilitate, and release animals, and we restore and protect their natural habitats. They partner with local communities, governments, non-governmental organizations, and businesses. Together, they pioneer new and innovative ways to help all species flourish.
